Wow. Didn't know Philly had so many neighborhoods! I've been here several years. You didn't mention the northwest sections of Manyunk, Roxborough, and Andorra. They seem pretty safe to me. Don't even feel like city most of the time, but convenient to the city.

^^ a neighborhood in philly is like tiny 6 blocks..

that's why there's a 1000 neighborhoods

they've also just made up a ton of new neighborhood names over the last 10-15 years. but that sort of thing always happens with gentrification.
