When did the Eckerd drugstore at Pilgrim Gardens close? I just know it's a Tuesday Morning now. Did they have a big closing sale? Do you miss the store?

No idea what eckerd you are talking about but the entire corporation went out of business. Cvs bought about half their stores in 2004 and then rite aid took over the rest.of the company in 2007. Whatever eckerd you are talking about it's been closed for at least like five years now.

I know... this one closed no later than 2005, even though their other stores in our area were bought by Rite Aid in late 2006, and they changed the name in 2007. Personally I wish this store had stayed open and become Rite Aid, so they could replace the Burmont Rite Aid for free. That place is a dump.

No offense but what makes questions about stores "weird"?

They are not that weird in and of themselves. But the sheer volume of them and some of the specifics they get into, taken as a whole are pretty weird.

This thread in particular seems really bizarre.

3. When was the old Wine & Spirits (where HobbyTown USA is now) built? Was it built around the time the Bazaar closed?

4. Were you surprised when it moved from that spot to next to Block Jewelers in Springfield?

5. Does the Burger King in town still have a smoking section?

6. Does the Pizza Hut in town have beer on their menu?

7. When did the Penn Fruit (now Burlington) close? I know most of the Penn Fruit chain closed in 1979, but a few of their stores closed in 1976. Which round was this one?
I mean honestly why do you care if people were surprised by the move of a liquor store? Why do you care if a burger king still has a smoking section?

You really don't think your questions are odd?

Also I know that my post may have come of as though I was using the tough guy response "why do you care? you writing a book or something?" But I was actually legitimately asking; why are you asking so many weird questions? Are you writing a book or something?

Your words seem far more combatitive than anything ive written. My first response was an honest attempt to answer his question. Then seeing his many odd questions I simply asked what the purpose of all the questions were. I even further clarified that I was mot being combative and was genuinely curious. Not exactly sure what your issue is.
