Another commute question- wayne to east norriton? (King of Prussia, Blue Bell: schools, place to live)

Ok so I thought I might take a job near chester, but now I am looking at one near east norriton. I was thinking Wayne might be a nice place to live given the schools, train to center center and proximity to places for my husband to work. We used to live in Center City though, and when I saw that to get to East Norriton from Wayne one would have to traverse King of Prussia, I began to feel ill. I should say that I've also lived in North Wales and am somewhat familiar with Blue Bell - not really fond of that area, even though it looks convenient on the map.

Any thoughts on this commute? Google says it is 12 miles and 23 minutes via Dekalb Pike. I am wondering if there are backroads that could get me there really in about 20 minutes reliably - not 20 minutes some days, an hour some days....

I would count on an average commute of around 30 minutes, maybe a few less depending on the time you drive it. Definitely not 25 just based upon the amount of traffic in the general area...
