are there any resources out there that compare Private Schools? it's difficult to find information, since they don't take PSSAs. is there data around high school/college placements, SAT scores, class size, etc?

I just went to Google Advanced Search and put in "Pennsylvania school rankings" in the exact phrase box and "private" as an additional key word and a bunch of promising websites came up. try it.

any particular private schools you are looking for? Most private schools in the area would compare to the top public school districts in the area.

Philadelphia magazine usually puts out a yearly article with school stats around the area.

i saw the ranking that they did in 2006, not that i put much credence in Philadelphia Magazine rankings. Most of the better private schools are ranked higher than the top public schools, which makes sense, although it doesn't provide much in the way of hard data.
