Ride the ducks is a good way to die. It's my understanding that tourists were killed on those a few years back.

wow. not good. not going on any boat rides unless absolutely necessary (ferry to liberty island, etc) as a few in my fam gets seasick. kinda a bummer since we live in hawaii and are surrounded by ocean! but that's ok as fishing on my boat is me time!

However the regular trolly tours are certainly the best way to see everything
if you want to spend the money. You can get on and off at any stop all day long. All the sights are too much to cover on foot so you would end up moving your car...... or missing something. (All the best stuff is on land, not in the water)

thanks for all the advice. mt laurel worked out great for us. and thanks to sj08054 for the directions. i was surprised that independence hall wasn't crowded considering the it was around the 4th of july but i guess i should be grateful for that. aloha.

Glad it worked out for you. I was out of town during that week but I believe it was crazy hot during the 4th of July weekend in Philly.

yeah it was pretty warm but bearable. didn't slow us down any. had a blast.
