I agree. No to Coatesville. Check out the crime ratings and the schools are not good either. Exton would be a more expensive than Wyomissing. Morgantown is in between with easy commute of both. Nothing to do in Morgantown. but 15-20 minutes from both places. I think you could rent a condo at Country Meadows in that price range. Practically no crime. I think for future jobs, Exton would be better.

West Chester is a wonderful place to live. It's the county seat of Chester county and has a great downtown area and a college. Lot's of restaurants, cafe's and bars for a small town. Exton is home to a large mall and lots of shopping. Downingtown is also a good choice and less expensive then Exton or WC. Coatesville may be less expensive but will have much less job opportunity for you, a longer commute for your husband and just not as nice a town as any of your other choices. I do have to say though that Wyomissing is probably more affordable then any of the towns in Chester County and I've heard it's a nice place to live. Berks County, Pennsylvania Fishing Lakes | Fishing Works

Wyomissing is a SMALL town in every sense of the term. Very unfriendly to persons from outside of Berks County. Aesthetically it is a lovely community with an excellent school system, but that is as far as it goes. It borders the City of Reading, one of the poorest communities in the US.

I have lived in Wyomissing for 24 years.

You will have better overall opportunities in the Exton area.

I hate threads where the OP disappears and never actually says what they decided. I'm sure the decision was made long ago, but I hope they chose the Exton area. Wyomissing is great, but Exton is much better for people in their 20s.

Everytime I think about where we should move, I always come back to NC. Need some help to finally decide.
