What grade would you give him? I would give him a big F+. The only thing he has done is raise property taxes. He has pretty much given up on crime. The only time I have seen him really upset about crime, was when some nut set fire to a playground You would think he would be more upset about a child getting shoot or an old woman getting mugged.I see no big companies coming to town.Ones that offer jobs that people can raise a family. All he knows how to do is tax and fine.

He also campaigned as a reformer but he acts like a coward in dealing with the unions.

I'll give him a C. He was dealt a tough hand with the economy which is beyond his control. One thing I do like about him is that he appears to not be corrupt, which is really saying something for a Philly pol.

I don't blame the Mayor for crime; there are too many factors out of his control. The Federal "war on drugs", Pennsylvania's lax gun laws, declining economy, etc.
But I'd give him a C+, No FBI probes.

I agree. He promised to be something special and so he disappointed a lot of people but he could have been much worse. Only Rendell has done better and the others were much worse.

Next to Street, almost anyone would appear to be something special.

I could be wrong, except for the police. The rest of the unions have been without a contract for over 4yrs.

I hear what you are saying, but to me he looks very soft on crime. I know some people do not like hearing the name Rizzo, but if he was still alive and the mayor.I bet a lot of this crap would not be going on.

I give him a D -

Property tax increases every year and the sales tax increase.

Doesn't want to do a damned thing to collect over $500 million owed from those who are delinquent with property taxes.
