Hello all. I'm relatively new to the area and live in Springfield Township, which is just north of Chestnut Hill (south of Ft. Washington). I'm considering jobs in the Bryn Mawr/Swarthmore/Haverford areas and am looking for advice about the commute. What routes would you recommend between these two areas during peak and off-peak times? Interior vs. 476? Avoid 476 at all costs or just during certain times? When is it the worst? I went to an interview in that area the other day and had to arrive by 9am. I took an interior route suggested by Google Maps and it took me about 50 minutes, primarily because of back-ups at a few certain spots rather than consistent traffic.
I'm just trying to get a realistic idea about the commute and would appreciate your thoughts. Thanks!
