Hi, I am planning to move to delaware/ west chester county (chadds frod, west chester etc) for my work in wilmington. In these or surrounding neighborhood, in which areas is there a greater racial diversity particularly regarding Asian Indians. I am not interested in north PA or new jersey as it will be too far of a drive for me.
I am trying to find out good school districts in these region or within 45 minutes drive from wilmington.
Also where can I find rental townhome/ condo in these regions.
Thanks in advance for your help.

I know you're not asking for DE info, but since you're working in Wilmington, I'll throw this out there: there is a big Asian Indian community southwest of Wilmington, in the Hockessin / Pike Creek area of Delaware. The public school district there, Red Clay, is good, and there are also plenty of good private school options in the Wilmington area.

There are also rental townhomes and condos. It's a mix of farmland, townhome/condo communities, and upper middle class single family home neighborhoods. If you're interested in this at all, look into Fairway Falls, or the other townhome neighborhoods off of Skyline Drive in Pike Creek. There's a high percentage of Indians living there. And it's cheaper to live, in general, than in Chadds Ford. Though Chadds Ford is a beautiful area, too.

Good luck with your move!

Chadds Ford has some town homes available for rent. you really need to be on the ball since they get snapped up as quickly as they are listed and it is pricey relative to other areas/school districts. I agree that the Hockessin area is terrific -- less available as a rental but, there is quite a bit in Pike Creek which is a very easy commute to Wilmington.
Not sure what your monthly budget it or what size you need but, a 3BR/2BA in Chadds Ford is going to run you $2000 per month minimum and most will be about $2500 per month. You can get the same space in Pike Creek for $1800 or less.
