This is good I guess, but I would be really excited if or when Rittenhouse gets a Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Salvatore Ferragamo etc boutique or a non outlet luxury department store like Saks, Neimams or Nordstrom or maybe even a Bloomingdale's. KOP prevents any potential major luxury retail tenant from landing in Center City.

What you're saying mimics what other posters(including me) have been saying for quite a while. Other posters are thrilled about more Wawas in CC.

Cherry Hill Mall mystery tenant revealed: Fast-fashion retailer Zara

See SJ retail gets some love too. They actually got a Zara before KoP, which I find strange.

See Southbound295, there are retailers who go to South Jersey prior to KOP...

Wonder if there are others like me who find KoP too big? On the rare time I need to buy "mall stuff," I'd rather slip over the bridge to CHM than face the traffic, huge parking lots, crowds and sheer distance between stores at KoP. I get that others love KoP. Perhaps there are others like me, however, who may have influenced this particular store location?

Why do you find it strange?

Because H&M, Forever 21, Primark, Urban, etc. all have huge flagship stores in KoP. Perhaps Zara saw too much competition and thus decided on another less competitive location. It will still do very well in CH.

"Flagship" is of course your personal definition of these KOP stores, not the associated company's.

Um no, look it up.

There is a flagship Forever 21, H&M, Burberry, Louis Vuitton, Hermes, Urban Outfitters, and I believe Anthropolgie, and maybe another one, I just can't think of right now. It even said it on Simons website during the expansion and I posted about it a long time ago.

Retailers can have more than one flagship FYI.

I assume that you know that there's money in South Jersey & the Cherry Hill Mall is not only closer to Center City, it's accessible by public transportation.
