Knit Wit is indeed looking for another location. Probably further down on Chestnut in either direction, or a numbered street in between Chestnut and Walnut. I believe they looked at the old Duke Winston space on the 1800 block of Chestnut, and the old Eye Site space between Sansom and Walnut on 19th.

I think they should use Duke Winston space.
That vacancy space is such an eyesore.

Have you been to the new Rag & Bone on Walnut by any chance? I want to know how the foot traffic and sales are since that's the newest higher fashion option in CC.
Yes I have been there.
Not too many selections for men.
They only utilize the ground level.
The basement is off-limit. It is only for employers.

The shop is almost always empty. But I believe they place the store there at the moment as a way to advertise their brands - to increase their brand awareness to local community.
It is always as empty as Theory and Vince.
And I also wish that they opened the other door facing the numbered street - but they don't. Just like what UA does across the street.

hmm, hopefully there is enough foot traffic/sales to keep them open.

I wonder how the CC Rag & Bone and Vince compares to the KoP ones.

I have not gone to either in KOP.
But that new vestibule is emptier than the rest area where there are cheaper selections.

Knit Wit's 'lost our lease' sale is everything

How is a salad joint going to make it paying $40,000 a month in rent?

The salads at Just Salad are pricey and the shear volume of expected customers will certainly make the location viable. If Just Salad can turn profit on Park Ave, I have no fear Chestnut St will do just fine.

Have you been to sweet green any day during lunch? It's just one block away and literally lines out of the door everyday. Just salad will due just fine.
