i always felt a sense of jealousy when I would go to Manhattan in the 80's and 90's and see these superstores of every clothing brand ever created...and I think all we had was a small "Betsey Johnson" store on Samson st.

Summer, the shoe store will open on Chestnut and 18th. Not 2116 Chestnut Street. Dude, 2116 is far from all the happening!

Macy's expanding 4 more floors for a total of 7

Wait where did u get this info???? Of all the stores????? You get me excited for no reason here, summer. If this is the case, it will safe me gas fee (and toll fee) and even airplane fee to go to KoP, Cherry Hill Mall or even going home to Miami for shopping.

Now if we can have Target, JcPenney and Wegmann's.....HA! That would be awesome!

Target is on Delaware Avenue in South Philly. You'd have to kick K-Mart out of 10th and Market to fit them in (which would indeed be an upgrade IMO.)

Wegman's needs too much of a footprint for an urban setting.

I do regret JC Penney's departure from the Gallery ...though I did stock up on their clothes during their close-out sales.

Like KidPhilly said, these are rumored to come to Center City in general... not a specific location.

-Nordstrom Rack and Forever 21 have been rumored for the Daffy's Location and 15th and Walnut development. Uniqlo is also rumored for 15th and Walnut.

-Bloomingdale's and Nieman Marcus are rumored for the Atlantic Building

-Gucci, Vera Bradley, White House Black Market, Hugo Boss, MIchael Kors are rumored for Walnut

-Burton, DSW and Bare Escentuals are rumored for Chestnut

-PREIT is looking at Hollister, Charlotte Russe, Aeropostale, Abercrombie & Fitch and American Eagle among others like Pac Sun, Zumies, etc. etc. (the type you see in your usual suburban shopping mall) for the Gallery.

For those who don't know, this is the 90,000 sqf 5 floor retail building coming to 15th and Walnut

15 and Walnut Streets

Rumors of tenants to fill the building include Cheesecake Factory, Uniqlo, Nordstrom Rack and Forever 21.

Which ever one (between Forever 21 and Nordstrom Rack) doesn't get the Daffy's location will probably end up here.
