I agree - I want local, not national on AM.

Where are you guys that you can't receive 94.1? It's one of the strongest FM signals in the city, and comes in far better than 610 in most places.

Yea I'm confused about this thread as well. Do you mean the radio signal or just the local morning program?

Also, not sure if I misunderstood the second post, but it's definitely 94.1, not just 94. FM radio goes by tenths spaced apart by .2MHz, and the tenths digit is always odd (so there's no 94.0 to tune into).

I'm in high rise center city condo and apparently there is too much interference from multiple sources.

The radio signal, which now has all of the local WIP programming. And its sportsradio 94. So, I don't know what you mean saying that there's no such thing. And even if it is 94.1, I still can't get it on my radio.

Oh true sounds like you are having interference problems, but I guess the OP was referring to the morning program. Anyway, I just put it on and had no problems. But yea, the branding is "Sports Radio 94" but the actual signal is broadcast at 94.1. Lot's of stations do this. For example, Q102 is on 102.1, and Power 99 is on 98.9.

Oh, ok - but even with moving the dial very very slightly - I still can' get it or there is a lot of static.

Hmm I guess maybe try a radio with an automatic tuner? Turning a knob manually can be finicky.

I can't get 94.1 on my alarm clock radio which pisses me off because I depended on the morning show to wake me up in the morning so I can get ready for work.
