Dollar for dollar, I'd dare say it's the best in greater Philly. And the trashiness isn't a huge deal. You just see a lot of people wearing wife beaters and jean shorts. It's certainly no less "classy" than Golden Corral.

Have to agree. Its *the* sleeper restaurant in Bucks for sure

No one could argue with that.

I know a few people in that area of Bucks and when you ask for a great place to eat that is the 1st place they mention so I wouldn't call it a sleeper exactly.

It's best described as a local favorite that's criminally under-rated outside Lower Bucks and immediately surrounding.
I've been to the Pub before. The Salad bar is really the only reason to go. I remember it being really crowded about 10 years ago and you're right I've seen a noted decline.
I'm very intrigued by Georgines. Anything high on the list I should order? Other then the Onion Soup that is, which if it lives up to half of what Hwood said will still be better then most Onion Soups I've eaten.
Anything else of note there?
I don't normally do Comedy Nights because they are 1.) Overpriced 2.) Never funny.

Their comedy nights are fairly cheap as far as I remember, and they usually bring in good people.
Besides their fabled onion soup, Georgine's does Italian food very well.
Yes very good (though only once but my take was it would do well in CC, even the interior was decent considering it looked like a redo of a building without much interesting architecture), Doylestown has a few good restaurants and great old DT
Think the cheese plate was pretty good in my recollection

For Mexican I recommend El Sarape and Los Sarape in Blue Bell and Chalfont - very interesting higher end traditional Mexican - their filet and fish dishes are very good
Also the Pho at Vietnam Cafe (think is the name) is very good on Germantown and Swede road in West Norriton - to me as good as any Pho in the city
I was planning on going to Georgines on Saturday night to give it a spin. No reservations on Saturday?!??! I'm starting to think the "low-class" thing is not hype.
