South Philly, Northern Lib/Fishtown is pretty bad parking wise.
You pretty much have to buy a co-op or condo to get an in building garage. 1500 Locust, the Sterling and the Windsor are three rental buildings with garages but they will cost a lot. You can also rent in some of the condos but again the garage is extra and will run two to three hundred a month.

As an update about google streetview... I was leaving Franklin Fountain when I saw a google streetview car parked on the side of the road. Perhaps they are preparing for an update?

Cool! I wonder if the imagery in the links I posted will just automatically update? Then I could just click on them in a few days to look to see if those permit parking signs are still there or not.

This thread's almost as bad as a "SEPTA" thread.

I would love to see an update for Center City. There are at least six new major hi-rise buildings missing now. No wait there are seven, no eight, I'm not even sure anymore how many.

Except for some people who live in CC. Most people in Philly own cars.
