When I move there I will bring my car. If it were older I would sell it but it's fairly new so I want to keep it.

Do you have a car and live in the city? Do you park on the street?

I have a car and I live in the city, I park it on the street. What neighborhood are you moving to?

When I lived in Center City I kept a car in my building's garage. If I had to park on the street in Center city I wouldn't keep the car because, well you can't park on the street in CC. It is just literally impossible.

Not impossible. I parked on the street in Center City for 10 years. It was possible because I had a parking permit, I hardly ever drove, and you hardly ever have to move the car once you have a spot, because street cleaning almost never happens..

We keep one car (in a garage). It is only for weekend getaways, big box runs and to visit family two hours away. There are many weeks when I only use it one day to go to place where I volunteer about 7 miles away. I wouldn't want to park on the street. That's just me however - many do it. You could just bring your car and see. If you end up not using it much, you could sell it here. If all your activities are centered around Center City, you won't need a car and can use Zipcar for when the odd times a car is necessary.

Depends on where in the city you are. Having multiple cars is no problem in parts of the NE for instance. Downtown, especially Center City, you can easily get by without a car.
