I want to make a trip by myself...the Megabus will drop me off at 30th St Station in Philadelpha, PA, and I need to go to Drexel University (the Academy of Natural Sciences). It will take around 18 minutes to walk there, according to Google Maps. I plan to get there at 11am and I will leave at 6pm, the same day.

I've never visited Philadelphia, I mean, driving through Philly doesn't really count. I've heard really bad things about the city, so I don't know if it's safe to walk there by myself. What do you think?

You will be perfectly fine, especially at 6 o clock any day, you will run into a lot of tourists and workers in that area.

FYI - Academy of Natural Sciences is not on Drexel campus, though it is affiliated with Drexel. It is in downtown Philly (called Center City), while Drexel's campus is about 2 minutes from where the bus will drop you off. Either way just follow the directions you have, you'll have no safety issues at all.

Lol. The Academy of natural Sciences is in Center City (Philadelphia's Downtown area). The area is as safe as you can get. I wouldn't be worried about it
