My experiences -- from Norristown to Center City -- is that the drive averages anywhere from an hour to an hour and a half in the mornings. It's not something I'd be wanting to do on a daily basis!

The MFL between 69th and CC is fine. However I would recommend the regional rail for commuting if it works for you. Look into leaving your car at regional rail stops etc. I leave my car at 69th station... $60/mo off a subway line is hard to beat.
