I agree. This is just ridiculous. I actually heard a pretty interesting theory the other day. The drop in crime in the United States has been contributed to the removal of lead paint from houses. I know that a lot of older Philadelphia homes tend to still have lead paint. I wonder if this is what is contributing to the violent crime? Any thoughts?

I read the same thing.. Ya never know.... Lead could have some issues with this sort of thing. I think drugs are more the reason though

Here is the problem. You can go downtown with your friends and beat a man to death and plea 2 to 5. Everyone who is doing dirt knows it.

Well, when lead paint was used all the time the crime rate was way lower than it is now. I'm talking back in the 40s and 50s.

True too. I still say its drugs. Crack, heroin coke etc. They will kill their Mother for a fix
