Unfortunately it's in the NYPost... but still.

Philadelphia is for art lovers - NYPOST.com

"Manhattan’s Museum Mile has an out-of-town friend, and it’s called the Parkway Museum District. Philadelphia’s Benjamin Franklin Parkway — designed to resemble the Champs-Élysées — is lined with major art museums that rival anything we have in NYC, all within easy walking distance of one another. To boot, dozens of other museums, galleries, events and the famed Mural Mile make for an artful weekend trip..."

Very nice.

We always seem to get good press from NYC while simultaneously bashed by CNN.

Most New Yorkers I know who've spent a substantial amount of time in Philadelphia give our city its due. In my experience, most of NYC's mindless Philly bashers are the ironically provincial types who claim they never need to leave New York to see anywhere else because they're already living in the center of the universe.

My favorite uncle, an elderly gent who lives in Manhattan had this to say:

"Philadelphia is the most under-rated city in America."

Born in Manhattan, my uncle at differant times in his life lived in Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston, and Miami. For four years he lived with me here in Philly.

New Yorkers and Philadelphians both have much love for each other. It's a special bond, and there is mutual admiration. Philadelphians love New York for its size, New Yorkers love Philadelphia because its a real city, and unlike other cities doesn't kiss up to New Yorkers and have pride in there city.

Only outsiders think Philly looks up to New York, that's far from the truth. We think we have the best city, I know this isn't true, and is a city if pros and cons, but that's how Philadelphians think. We're not insecure about our city either. New Yorkers love that about us, when they visit other cities there seen a royalty. When they visit Philly we take em for a cheese steak and go site see. They love it!

Agreed, I love both cities and for different reasons. I like that when I'm in Philly I get a NYC vibe in a much more manageable setting. I love NYC because of it's sheer size and amount of sightseeing.

I think it's a huge plus that both cities are in close proximitity to one another.

This might be one of the few times New Yorkers are right. Philadelphia outclasses NYC in museums and it seems that New Yorkers are finally humble and confessing the truth rather than being in denial and coming up with excuses to prove otherwise.

Congrats to New York for giving Philly the recognition we deserve.

Sooner or later we'll all realize that Philly is better than New York.
