No? I went in there in the summer once for a dish of ice cream and it was quite cool inside.

Why would you eat your ice cream in an ACed room? Doesn't that defeat the whole purpose?

You're right! I'd much rather have my ice cream served to me by some sweatball with a moustache and have to race eating it before it runs down my arm.

Not that I'm a frequent visitor to Franklin Fountain, but I've never had an issue with the temperature there, so I don't have any idea what you're talking about. There isn't really room to eat inside anyway.

This was a few years ago, so maybe they wised up.

Nah. They have only fans, no air conditioning ... must be real fun during a heatwave.

A cup of tea perhaps?
Again, never had an issue with the heat, and I'm actually among the easily overheated type. Fans work fine for an ice cream parlor that doesn't really have indoor seating.

I've only been in the winter, but I think I'll go when I get back and tell you how it is.

Edit: Well now this whole post is pointless... cuppa tea?
