Havertown great choice, great schools, great town!
blue bell great area a bit tough on the travel time to the city and definately a bit pricey.
Morton, sorry but I must say no decent school system there but not a great area, even though my parents are from that area it's changed over the years.
warminster, lansdale are good areas and good schools plus the housing cost are fair. but the travel time into philly will kill you.
bensalem well I've never been a fan of ne philly we go there to have fun on occasion but wouldn't want to live there

I agree with Miss.pigeon. We live in Media but our son still attends the Wallingford-Swarthmore School District..which is the best I've ever been in...and I've been in/worked with about 60 in my former professional life with nonprofit organizations. We really couldn't decide between Media and Swarthmore...and sort of defaulted to Wallingford in between until landing in Media. Strathhaven High school is probably one of the best in the state...few schools excel in academics while fielding one of the best football teams in the state and while having 30% of the student body in the band. PM me and I'll be happy to introduce you folks to the high school principal. One visit is all you need to be blown away and there is no crime to speak of...and a train that goes into UPenn..about 25 minutes.
