Another one of Drexel's plans is to demolish the James E. Marks Intercultural Center (a nondescript 2 story building) on 33rd and Chestnut and build a hotel there. According to The Triangle , the Drexel student newspaper, the Drexel board has approved the hotel project and is close to selecting a builder and an operator of the hotel.
