While blaming rape victims is well off base I understand summers frustration that led him to this regrettable stance.

Made in America was a huge event, an event that was a success that brought money and excitement to the city. We should be celebrating a job well done and yet instead everyone comes here to ***** and moan about things that didn't happen or things that while very unfortunate are not really directly related to the event itself and aren't really issues the city could prevent.

And here I thought this was a thread about Made in America, not the sociology of rape.

Not trying to downplay the tragedy of rape, but does anyone honestly believe this was directly connected to the concert?

Let's try to inject a little more sensibility and perspective here.

While there were unfortunate incidents at the event that are worth acknowledging, this thread would be better served by focusing on the Made In America event itself.
