when will we ever win a sports title?!
i'm a diehard fan of the sixers, eagles, and phillies. but i'm getting tired of watching them lose in the playoffs, or have horrible seasons and then say, "we'll get a good draft pick and we'll doo good next season." because they have said that a lot, and nothing has happened. we have loyal fans, but we're not gaining any by failing to win a championship since the late 80's. what do you think?

Of all the Philadelphia teams, the only one I care about is the Flyers, so I'm hoping they win the next championship in the city.
Bring me Lord Stanely's cup!
The Phillies also seem to be moving forward. The other two are either backsliding or stuck in a vortex, depending on your perspective and what day it is.

The fans would have to revolt and force the owners to spend some $$$$ on top players. Or maybe there's something to the William Penn curse. Maybe tear down the Comcast Tower in tribute or do something to make him lift it.

If the Phils pitching stays healthy next year, then I think that the Phils have a very good shot at winning it all. I don't follow hockey or basketball much, so I can't really comment on the Flyers or Sixers.
The Eagles are a looooong way away from a title. Their window has closed and its time to rebuild. Rebuild this team around Westbrook and Kolb.

Isn't Westbrook getting too old to build around?

He's 28 years old. Not exactly an old man yet, and very well could still be around when the Eagles could be ready to contend for a Super Bowl.
