WOW! Randall was 70% of the Eagles offense back then. Buddy only invested in the defense. Randall finally got his chance with a real offense near the end of his career with the Vikings and was only a field goal a way from making the Super Bowl.

And that 1998 team w/ Randall was 15-1 - almost perfect, with their only regular season loss being by 3 points.

Doug Williams was the only super bowl winner, and was the super bowl MVP that year. That's why he makes my list.

I felt so bad for him. We are talking about a chip shot and the kicker hadn't missed a field goal all season.

Do you remember what happened the following season in Minnesota? Did he get hurt again?

It's still hard to believe that he had a 0-3 playoff record as a Eagles when he was so explosive and dominant in the regular season.

Not sure if he won 1 playoff game but I can't remember. I know that he loss against the bears, rams, and skins and not sure after that but I believe he was 0-3 in the playoffs

Hear is a good read. I guess we all are entitled to our own opinion. When it came to offense ,Buddy Ryan was a not a good coach. Randall was on his own.

Buddy Ryan was not a good Offensive coach, but I loved him and even root for his kid Rex. Reid was always a jabronie and I anticipate a 45-10 Eagles blowout! Now I am an Eagles fan again. All those years in the 2000s with those wing eating wackjobs painting their face green expecting a Super Bowl. I always knew it was a sham. Now the team has a true coach with some good players. Go Eagles. Getting back to Cunningham, the man was a legend! Mcnabb on the other hand always was inept!

It should not be forgotten that Cunningham was being mentored and very close to then Eagles QB coach Doug Scovil who passed away early in Randall's career. Had Randall been coached properly in those early years he could of been one of the tops in the NFL. One of the best arms of a QB ever.

Don`t get me wrong. I was a big Buddy Ryan fan.Love his attitude, fit right in with blue collar Philly. LOL! He just didn`t care to much about offense.
