Hello

Does anyone know of any open sala classes at any studios around town?

Try Eli Torres. Don't be put off by the excessive image he projects on the website, he's a good instructor.

Prince of Salsa

I'm not sure if that's what you meant by "open" though. Did you mean where you don't have to show up each week, but where you can just drop in to the classes you can make?

The owner of La Luna--and I think sometimes some of the other instructors--teach free salsa lessons at Brasil's nightclub (Wednesdays and Friday) on Chestnut Street, so you can check them out there to see if you are interested.

(Double-check with Brasil's itself before going, since I have not been there for a long time and things may have changed.)

I highly recommend Society Hill Dance Academy (http://www.societyhilldance.com/) They are extremely easy to work with, very friendly and flexible. They offer private lesson or small group dance classes. Both great for salsa and ballroom.
