Tired of hearing all the nay-sayers talking about me want to move up to Philly from Baltimore. Making crass statements like, "you think Philly is better than Baltimore!." You damned straight I think Philly is better than my hometown and I've always thought that.

I thought you were going to say you were from Pittsburgh haha.

Baltimore peeps like Philly even moreso than DC in my experience.

It's been awhile since Ive been to Baltimore (10 years) but it reminded me of a bigger version of Wilmington which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Philadelphia is definitely a step or 2 up on the urban ladder in comparison to Baltimore. Good luck.

Baltimore is a fine little city, but Philadelphia is so much larger. Philadelphia wipes the floor with Baltimore on every category, except waterfront

I don't think you would be a traitor to move to Philadelphia. Come on up and experience a real city!

I got the same sort of jibes from some Philly people when I moved to NYC. People are silly. Live your life.

Although many people disagreed with me in a previous thread some time ago, I feel that Philly and Baltimore are similar in terms of the architecture, the blue-collar heritage and the passion for sport teams. Their waterfront is as good as our downtown (and the opposite is just as underachieving). It's not as if the Orioles and Ravens play the Phillies and Eagles every year. LOL I'd think you'd be considered more of a "traitor" if you defected down the road to DC.

Welcome to Philly!

I can foresee Philly becoming a kind of second / co new york and baltimore / wilmington becoming the new phillys.

I agree ... Most Baltimorites I've met remind me of Philadelphians. I like them!
