After 8th and Market, if parking garages/open lots are allowed.. that horribly ugly parking garage that spans the 700/800 block of Arch St and covers part of 8th st, as well as the surface lot next to it.

Next, its not a parking lot but that huge vacant space at 20th and Market in the middle of the financial district is horrible to look at, and the vacant lot at 19th and Walnut on the Northwestern corner of Rittenhouse Square.

My least favorite current lot is between 22nd and 23rd on Market to the North side

I'll believe it when there actually are ground-breakings and cranes rising in those locations. Sometimes I wish these announcements would stop until there is something final. It sets people up for disappointment if nothing happens. For instance how many times has there been talk about the NE corner or 20th and Market??

Yes, that lot, next to Peco. Sigh. Lots of their employees use it.

There's a huge lot on the NW corner of Broad and Spring Garden that I wish was gone.

That would be a great day if Castleway actually goes through with this tower.

Still a disappointment to see a stubby building being proposed at 20th and Market, when it should be an 800ft tall tower.

I agree about the 20th and Market parking lot. That is rediculous....I feel like that area should have a rule. No building less than 700 feet!

8th and Market
1911 Walnut Street
2100 Block of Market
2200 Block of Market
3000 Block of Market
3000 Block of JFK
3000 Block of Chestnut
20th and Walnut
13th and Market
Every lot around Franklin Square

etc. etc. The list goes on. Still a lot of development opportunities in Center City/UCity

Walked by 15th and Chestnut Monday and thought I would drop in the lobby of the W Hotel for a coffee break. What? It's still a parking lot?

I've lost count of all the "final" approvals I've read about in the last 2 and a half years that go on to state that groundbreaking will get underway "shortly."
