Hello Everyone.

I have recently moved to USA and I am currently located in New York.

Now, I will be moving to PA due to my job. The office is located in Plymouth Meeting. I would really appreciate if you can guide me for any appropriate suburbs to live in. But there are two problems I am facing.

1) The issue is that my wife is from Medical field and she will have to work in NY (may be Manhattan region) for next few months due to her licensing. So, would it be possible to find a location which is approx. in the center of New York City and Plymouth Meeting?

2) I am new to USA and I will take my driving license in next 2-3 months. So, I will have to use Public transport for the initial months.

I am looking for 1 or 2 BHK apartment for rent. The budget would be 800-900 / month. I will be moving in mid. September.

It would be really helpful if anyone can give me a good solution and help me to find a good suburb.

Thanks a lot.

It will be difficult to work in Plymouth Meeting without a car. You may want to either get a short-term rental/sublet or stay in an Extended Stay type hotel until you have a drivers license, while your wife does the same in New York. Then, once you can drive and your wife knows where she will work long-term, you can find a more permanent solution. If your job locations don't change, Princeton, NJ, Hamilton, NJ or Yardley, PA may be decent options.
