I don't about condos or townhouses there but you could probably afford a single family home in brookhaven under 200k, like a rancher or something.

Default whats a good town for seniors

to relocate to near Philadelphia. Somewhere with small town charm would be ideal, also low taxes if that is not asking to much.

Thank you.

Robert, Pretty much everyone wants to live in a low priced area with low taxes and a lot of people want that small town charm. It would be helpful if you fill this http://www.city-data.com/forum/phila...some-maps.html out so posters on this forum can give you some practical suggestions instead of just throwing out the names of all of the towns within 20 miles of Philadelphia.

Brookhaven has several decent townhouse developments as well as several developments with capes and splits. Taxes are reasonable, area is pretty good as well as the schools. Not really any downtown per say, but it is your average little suburb.

Media offers more of that small town feel because of the actual downtown, but any townhomes located near downtown are ridiculously priced.
