But you still live in the ghetto where your plants have to be chained up, and you bicycle will be cannibalized once the sun sets.....

What is the point of this post?

This picture looks to be Graduate Hospital, which is well on it's way to being a Class A residential neighborhood. Maybe people prefer urban living over your cookie cutter, boring suburban living?

Even so, how do you know how much they paid? Maybe they're the type of people who enjoy being a part of a neighborhood in a renaissance, and making a difference in their community and city.

Just a thought. Either way, absolutely pointless thread.

Oh, I don't know, I found it funny in a "take it with a grain of salt" "ability to laugh at ourselves" way. I don't think it's going to stop anyone from buying in Point Breeze, or wherever this was taken.

Good point! I'm moving out of philly now!

Get over it. People want to live in cities in general and Philly in particular. Why the hell do you care so much about what other people are doing with their lives?

You like to live in the suburbs and would never consider living in the city. I like to live in the city and would never consider living in the suburbs. The real difference between you and me however is the fact that in my free time I frequent a website where I can read about Philadelphia, a place I love and something I am passionate about. You on the other hand do not spend your time on a topic on which you are passionate, instead you go to a place where people are interested in something you don't like and you just sh**t all over them and their interests.

I don't like Taylor Swift, so I just avoid Taylor Swift. If I was more like you I'd spend all my time on a taylor swift message board arguing with people about how bad her music is. But I don't do that. Mostly because it's incredibly pathetic. I pity you.

Wrong analogy, because I live in center city. Just don't own property. I'm not stupid.

As a renter, you are not tied down. Why do you choose to live in CC? What drew you here and keeps you here?

Cool. Maybe you rent from me. If so, thanks for your money. It really helps me deal with my major stupidity problems.

Do you think that property in Center City is overvalued? Why would owning property there be stupider than renting?

You wish you own property in CC.
