I am considering relocating to Bucks County, I would be commuting to the Princeton area. I am curious about the real estate tax situation in the Eastern towns. Which are the higher ones and which are the lower ones. I don't have any children in the school system so thats not a concern.

My wife and I recently bought a house in the area your looking at. Bear in mind the following are GENERAL statements. I think upper and lower makefield
and newtown township have higher taxes than middletown township, langhorne and bristol. I think these are the areas in PA that make a commute
to Princeton bearable. New construction in these areas will have higher taxes than existing homes and the boroughs in these areas (Yardley, Newtown, Langhorne, Bristol) will have higher taxes than the boroughs that surround them. The homes on realtor dot com usually list the taxes on a property, but you could expect to pay as little as $3-4K/yr for an existing home to > $12K/yr for new construction or a home with an acre or more of land. Ope this helps.
