Where are you going (what part of Philly) and how long will you be in Philly? Do you plan to use your car while there?

I guess the area is considered Temple, i dont really plan on using the car, maybe once or twice while there, going there for the weekend, leaving monday. The house is footsteps away from the subway station called Girard Station like where the Mcdonalds is. I hope this info is helpful!

I think parking is free in that area on the street, some areas can be a little sketchy

Thompson (1 block) and Master (2 blocks) are right up from Girard. Neither of them have parking stipulations and I think are fairly safe. I used to park on Master all the time for class, even for my evening classes. I would just suggest checking on it a couple times a day, like when you go out or before you go in for the evening. Parking on Temple's campus is also a possibility. It may be a bit farther away, but your car might be safer with the security around. The walk from Temple's campus to Girard is very doable.
