It's not real Mexican food. Chicken tenders. . .I wouldn't classify them as adult food. . .not for a meal, anyway.

Cooking your own food is way cheaper than eating in fast food places & you can make it more healthy.

Why would you brag about living near a Chili's? That's nothing to brag about; who cares? People who live in West Virginia live near Chili's. People who live in Kansas live near Chili's. It's not anything special and the food sucks. You can find a Chili's almost anywhere.

There's no reason to start a thread about every crappy chain that closes or moves.
I'm going to start a thread about any place I discovered that close or any new place that opened and if you don't like then don't click on the thread.

Doesn't matter, I like chili's and mad that's it gone and wanted to make people aware who didn't know.

Have you ever actually eaten at an independently owned restaurant?

That's fine. Go ahead. On the other hand wouldn't you like to make your own to replace food from places that close? You could save enough money by making your own to splurge on something occasionally.

Just that you post the same type of thread a lot...and it genuinely makes me smile. I've never seen someone get so emotionally invested in fast food or restaurant chains. Nothing wrong with it; it's entertaining. You are definitely one of the more interesting characters on CD (and easily identifiable, despite name changes).

I can even kind of understand it - you grew up in West Philly, you're a young adult (I think?), and the fast food / restaurant chains are a big part of what defines the city in your personal experience. Life changes quickly when you're in your twenties, and you take comfort from the fact that the place you grew up in looks and "feels" the same. (Then in your thirties, the world has changed so much that you stop feeling surprised by the changes. I grew up in a world where people with car phones were a really big deal!). Anyhoo, keep on keeping on.

I went to Longhorn steakhouse last night and I guess you have something to say about that too right?

Who are you to tell him (or anybody else) what to like and not to like. Mind your own business.
Has eating at all your 'authentic' joints enabled you to stay thin?

And what gives you the right to degrade people from Kansas and West Virginia? You're from Carbon County for chrissakes, same thing.

You keep eating where you want and don't worry about the food snobs.
