Dunno if they are ahead of schedule but their concrete cores are very visible now.

Comcast is actually begining to set up a crawler crane this week with steel erection set to begin next monday. You really start to see both towers take off now that they are in the steel erection phase.

There's some other very thin building going up in 1900 block of Arch next to the recently finished rental. Dunno what it is. More residential housing?

Not strictly CC(don't want to get caught up in that what's CC and/or greater CC debate again), but the Museum Towers project at 19th and Hamilton is still digging as is the Mormon project at 16th and Vine. No foundations yet.

It is part of the 1900 Arch rental complex. The steel topped off last week I believe. Side note, that building is way to stubby for its location.

Yeah, quite an exciting time indeed! The first wave was in UCity with 3737 Chestnut, the Summit, and 3601 Market, and now CTIC and FMC tower are the first of the major projects to rise, then there will be SLS and the W which start to rise, along with (as mentioned) Museum Towers, Market East, Brickstone's projects in "Midtown Village" (as they like to call it), the Dalian, the Mormon Apartment Tower, One Riverside, 1900 Chestnut, and a slew of smaller projects. We're finally past the proposal and approval stages for a lot of these projects, and now it's time for them to rise. Can't wait for them to be fully built so the city can really feel their true economic and social impact. Should be fun to watch over the next few years!

Just hours ago I was on Broad and Spruce St., across from the Kimmel Center, and I was surprised how quickly the building there was demolished. The Market East demolition at 11th and Market seems to be taking a month, but on Broad the building there disappeared in a matter of days.
