Paesano's Italian hoagie is pretty great, add it to your list.

Lee's Hoagies is good up here-although I think they closed the one in Roxborough. There are also many random corner stores that make a damn good hoagie. People in West Oak Lane swear by Pagano's Hoagies. Agreed on Primo's-glad to see them doing so well. I still haven't been to the original in South Philly.

It's like water ice and pretty much all kinds of Italian foods-the most and best places are in South Philly but there are good spots all over the region. Mmmh, maybe that just goes for food in general and South Philly.
The original Primo's is still great. Didn't Chickie's close?

It must have died. There was one in Ardmore/Wynnewood but it's been gone for a few years.

They were practically the only choice at one time.

At Hegerman and Wellington in Tacony.

I always enjoy Marinuccis hoagies too. One of my favorites in Philadelphia.
