I would love to see a great produce store like Sue's open. There was a really bad one on 15th and Spruce a few years ago, that didn't even carry granny smith apples, so I mean one with fresh items and variety.
I go to the Rittenhouse Farmers Market most Saturdays, but would like another option during the week.

What about "Everything Fresh" by 13th and Walnut? Fairly new healthy grocery store.

I was there a couple of times. I didn't buy produce though. I'll have to go back.

I went to Everything Fresh today and was not at all impressed with the produce selection. I wanted blueberries, which should not have been difficult to find, since they are in season locally. I also wanted yukon gold potatoes, none. There were peppers, that looked nice, but I didn't bother buying those and went to Sue's and got what I wanted and more.
EF does have Noosa yogurt which is fabulous and some interesting frozen foods, so I will return for those items.

Not really, Sue's is closer to me. I wanted a place even closer, like across the street.

That everything fresh is backed by the same company as giant. Not that there's anything wrong a food store opening up a food store, but hiding big money behind a small storefront in the name of yuppie appeal is pretty lame.
