Default Yardley to Rahway
My husband and I are currently considering moving to the Yardley area. My husband would have to commute to Rahway for work. We have looked at him using the NJ Transit which would take him directly up to Rahway. If he were to drive it Mapquest says it would take about an hour going straight up Route 1. We are just wondering what the traffic is like on Route 1? Any help would be appreciated.

I live near there and commute, but not that far up.

If you leave by 7, you can usually get to 287 by 8.

Going home is a nightmare sometimes, though, especially on Friday. It often takes me an hour just from north of Princeton.

Route 1 is brutal during the rush - Take NJ Transit.
