Single woman so looking for smaller home,I work at Boeing and relocating. looking for a place to live that is around a 30-40 minute (or less)commute. looking for a safe safe neighborhood under 160k. Prefer a more rural area to one that is congested.

Looking for:
Safe area
Trees
Smaller Single homes
Quiet neighborhood

Thanks in advance for your help

I think Essington is okay and might be in your range. That would be the same town as Boeing itself. Ridley Park possibly.
Ridley Park is more quiet, but more expensive of course. Working for Boeing, you might already be used to hearing plane noises. Boeing is near the international airport (no surprise there!). For congestion, you might be best to stick to local roads for your commute I think.

The only rural area in that price range within 40 minutes of Boeing would be over in NJ across the Commodore Barry Bridge. Bridgeport,Mulica Hill,Swedesboro,Beckett area.

In all due respect to chessimprov Essington is the antithesis of rural.

Good luck.

Agree with this. Mullica Hill and Beckett (Logan Township) may be out of your price range for a lot of homes, but check them out on realtor.com or a similar site. You should be able to find something fairly rural in your price range in Swedesboro.
