Hi there
I am moving to Philadelphia next February and I bought a house on Fairless Hill in Bucks county. I got a good opportunity with the house and since I was in a hurry I didn’t have much time to do research about that neighborhood. Any information you can give me will be appreciated. Thanks Medu ![]() |

You'll be fine. It's a post war boom area that has stabilized and had it's ups and downs. It's near Oxford Valley Mall and is within commuting distance of NYC (I know, I've done it). Some of the houses can be problems. Slab-on-grade, sometimes cold and had some termite issues. Most were asbestos board and have been sided. Traffic is tough in RT413, 13 and the secondary roads. Crime is average. Kids are sometimes a problem and the government is an afterthought. But I know the area well and you won't lose money when you move and you'll feel pretty safe. By the way, Bristol is up and coming and Fairless Hills may follow if not slowly.
Enjoy |
