Just a few I ran across. I didn't post all.
Just another point wrt Colonnade there's little that's sketchy near it today. In fact someone built a million $ home a block away a couple of years ago.

After reading through some of the other responses/comments, I think folks are correct: they're scams most likely! Beware!

Those prices seem a little odd to me.

I've been looking into Society Hill, Old City, Belle Vista, Fairmount, Spruce Hill, Queen Village, Graduate Hospital & Washington Square. I've been finding pretty decent places from $459-$625/mo.
1. As recently as 4 or 5 years ago it was possible to find an apartment for $650 in a not so bad neighborhood in Philly. That was then, this is now. I tell people the rule of thumb is $1,000 per month for a one bedroom apartment.

2. You've been finding apartments in those neighborhoods for $459 to $626? Frankly I am very skeptical!

One had Reading in parentheses.

I would take advantage of any connections you know before finding a place on Craigslist. Septa is a DREAM compared to mass transit in Baltimore. Good luck with the move!
Thank u much. I appreciate it.

I noticed that when I google mapped it. I try 2 avoid anything that won't give me a clear address.

I totally scratched that 1 off considering the Reading & when I google mapped it. It didn't make since. On top of that, it's been listed for 2 months. That was the 2nd RED flag 4 me. This is y I don't rush 2 do anything. I like 2 take my time & investigate. I'll go back 2 NYC b4 spending $1000/mo 4 rent anywhere else. As crazy as NYC is & I don't want 2 go back, it is the safest big city.
