I actually noticed really quickly a lot of women wearing hijab in the city. When taking the MFL westbound in CC, I would say it's very more common to see a hijabi woman boarding a train. I would say more times than not, at least one is boarding a train heading westbound to West Philly. At least in my experiences so far this short summer.

I started to notice it about 10 years ago.

They're the Nation of Islam. You know the people that Malcolm X denounced and who killed him 50 years ago. Those are not the people being talked about in this thread. Totally different.

I'd like to try this experiment with the people you mean. My youngest great-nephew is visibly white. His dad is white. His mom, my niece, is black. So the kid is bi-racial. They could all approach the bean pie sellers and see how they react.
