I'd agree about the Philly influence with all of those cities/areas you mentioned Duderino. Those places (or more specifically the counties where they are located) are what I had in mind, along with Hunterdon County, NJ and perhaps even Warren County, NJ (or at least parts of both counties) when I mentioned counties that are distinct from the Philadelphia area but have strong ties to the area.

Just as a point of reference and clarification, I grew up about 10 miles north of Bethlehem.

I don't think Hunterdon and Warren counties in NJ have many ties to philly at all. Even Mercer County now is more of a part of the NYC metro than the Philly metro. I do agree with the Reading/Berks area however. Especially as more and more people move out to these exurbs and still commute to Exton-Great Valley-KoP. Same goes with Lancaster County to a lesser extent.

I also believe Kent County in DE has some ties to the Philly region as well along with Atlantic and Cape May counties in NJ.
