U City would greatly benefit from a mini Target.

Yeah that would keep me out of Fresh Grocer. lol But the one on 19th street didn't look like a mini target from the outside which kind of shocked me once I got inside.

(BTW, IIRC, the square footage of that store and the 19th and Chestnut Target are about the same: somewhere around 19,000.)
Funnily always forget that store!

I forgot about it and there's been a super market there for about 15-20 years. There's a Whole Foods right across from it.

The Fresh Grocer at 40th and Walnut may end up being an Acme.

I hate going to Fresh Grocer now because I have to walk 5 blocks once I come outside. lol I think it;s better to start food shopping in center city again and can just hop on the trolley and go straight home.

So that is my resolution for the new year to shop for food in center city instead of university city

Either philly.com or philadelphia magazine, I think.

There's some kind of dispute between the Fresh Grocer's owners and Penn.

The supermarkets carry a limited stock hence not a lot of choices. Plus they charge more compared to the stores in the 'burbs for the same items.
