Lol. You haven't met me. My best friend tells me all the time that scare people. My reaction to that is, "Good!".

That whole thing just seems silly to me. Isn't Woodys working on permits for a roof deck as well?

I may try to check out that woman's bar although I may be too old..... Lol
I just don't hear or see it as much, and when I do it feels strictly nostalgic, no hostile towns like I often encounter in Philadelphia. Idk why my PMs don't work.

Wrt the gayborhood and its transformation, there are no women's bars/clubs now. Is that progress?
At least they haven't closed down the massage parlors - that would be true tragedy.

Unless I'm missing something, they pretty much have.

The only "adult" businesses I can think of in that general area now are the adult bookstores/peep shows, Danny's Midnight Confessions (ain't goin' anywhere) and Scorpio (probably ditto).

Maybe over the cigar store on 13th, but you usually see a sign.

The Sansom Cinema (which got the most tasteful entrance a porn palace ever had when its building front got remodeled in the general 13th Street upgrade) is now a Michael Schulson restaurant.

Don't forget Club Philly, and then Sansom Street Gym on the other side of Broad.

No one in my family has ever been mugged including my 98 year old, still pretty active, aunt.
