Hah-yeah I was there. That one was too crazy/crowded. The Food Truck Fest when it was in Mt. Airy was perfect for me.

Also-The Chestnut Hill Garden and Arts Festival is a good one. Too bad this year it was too dreary for me to go.

Just attended Philly's 1st HoagieNation Festival at Penn's Landing
The artist line-up was pretty diverse with Hall & Oates headlining.
My one and only gripe is the price for beer ($16), water ($7) and food (varied but a 6" hoagie was $10)
General admission was $4
Not allowed to leave and re-enter
Overall, it was good, not great.

It is definitely suppose to be a popular one. One of the lesser kings of Nigeria came to it last year, so it much be somewhat of a big deal lol.

Interesting-didn't know that! The Odunde Fest does deem to be a big one though.

The Taoiseach (prime minister) from Ireland was at the St. Paddys Parade this year.

I agree I can't attend events with tons of people in a tight area.
