That's a wide swath. Garnet Valley schools are really good so you'll pay more but could easily raise kids there or sell and have no problem doing so and make money on the deal. Chichester schools are not nearly as good. Marcus Hook is probably the least desirable of the neighborhoods around there. But Aston is pretty good, I had a colleague move into a development there and just saw a show on house values and a 4 br single, small piece of land was valued around $265-300K.

Have you considered Media? Its close to Ason, great schools, some night life for you guys, but the houses will be smaller/more expensive...

Default moving from staten island

Hello everyone, this is my first post, i just found this site, its great. I am moving from staten island, ny., too new jersey. i would like to go south but it really doesnt matter. my husband works in red bank but i work in brooklyn, my two daughters need to go into manhattan for college and i have a 12 yr old in jr. high. Can anyone give me some advice on good neighborhoods, i am looking to pay less for a house in new jersey. my house is worth 400 I would like a diverse neighbor hood, alittle bit of everybody. lol, Can someone tell me how much it cost to commute from south jersey to new york penn. station, i here its very expensive, and do the trains run all night, like in ny. thanks so much denise
