Where does Levittown fall into this mix? I too am in the same boat. I teach in South Brunswick (Middlesex County) NJ and want out. I have been thinking about the above mentioned areas but also Levittown. That is even less of a commute. Any thoughts about schools and crime in levittown? I also heard something about very low taxes in Tullytown.

Pennsbury07 is on a distinguished road
Levittown has many townships in it. There are falls twp, bristol twp, middletown twp, and tullytown boro. STAY away from bristol twp, most of the homes are rundown and its very old. Bristol school are really bad. Yes, bristol twp is cheaper but the quality of living suffers. Falls twp. is nice(pennsbury schools) and is a better area(lower taxes). Middletown twp. is really nice too. Its closer to all the shopping areas and I-95. If you are going to live in levittown I would stay in falls or middletown twp. try fairless hills(falls twp.) it is in my opinion nicer than levittown. Tullytown boro is kinda dumpy, its right near a trash mountian(yes, along Route-13). Are you looking to buy or rent?

Looking to buy. I've been checking out South Jersey and those areas in PA. I don't know what to do. I moved to S. Carolina and returned 2 years ago to South Brunswick where I grew up. I was away for 12 years and everything changed SO much! I am back with my son and I dont want to uproot him again, but Middlesex NJ is not where we want to be. It's a shame to watch your home town be taken over! There is a very high influx of Asian Indian in our area. They are the majority, thus all of the restaurants, strip malls, etc... are becoming all Indian. I am all for diversity but this in not diverse. It is all one culture. I feel uncomfortable. In any case, I need this decision to be the right decision!

when i lived in levittown i commuted to princeton and it wasn't too bad. maybe 25 mins with no traffic. of course in rush hour that will go up but always under an hour. maybe 45 mins? so if you can find something in that area in your price range i recommend it. i looked at apartments closer to princeton, in nj and it was wayyy too expensive for me.

Hello,

Please tell me if you moved to Langhorne or Yardley. We are currently considering either town. We here lots of great things about Pennsbury schools which would be Yardley but no one seems to really no much about Langhorne's Neshaminy school district. Can you help? Thanks!

Why did you move if you don't mind? How were the schools in Langhorne?

Default Bucks County

I grew up in Bensalem and have contemplated moving back to Bucks County. It has been a while since I was there. Can someone tell me what the prices are of renting apartments and houses?

It can be a ball park range, just trying to guage where and if I am moving back.

I can be reached on here

thank you

For what it's worth......I have often traveled to Monroe (Middlesex) from Philly and Bucks and Rt 130 is my perfered way to go. It really moves fast and there are none of the risks involved with using the NJ Tpk. It is also much less congested then Rt 1 through Trenton. Being close to the Burlington Bristol bridge with out being in Bristol Township is key. Langhorn or Levittown(Middletown) close to Rt 413 is the place to start.
