It was a weather phenomenon. It was plainly, clearly, visible on the radar maps on the weather reports. I suppose that if the OP didn't watch the weather, ignorance could be excused. But the comments involving NYC were beyond excusable.

I got a photo for this thread lol. During the storm last week.



It was some wild weather for sure.

The city of Philadelphia was extremely industrious in the past. It still has large refineries that are in operation, particularly the ones that are clearly visible coming from the city from the south.

However, you have to be pretty dense to mistaken the weather last week for smog lol...
